al jarnow creates many things. he did a bunch of films in the 70's mostly time delays and cool shapes. he also makes fun kaleidoscope programs, art machines and pattern makers  >> here and has en-massed a huge collection of interactive works  >> here

he also recieved a national science foundation artist-in-residence fellowship at the sanfrancisco exploratorium in the 80's and has since created many interactive art/science things.

zine of the month -- space 1026

zine of the month is a project started in 2009 to release limited edition and hand made artist zines focusing (for the most part) on artists working in Philadelphia. Each month a new zine is printed and produced by Mark Price Is A Factory. Issues are available individually or as part of a year subscription. Various titles can also be found at finer zine outlets the world over.

banksy is a bit of a wiener. but this is still pretty neat. that is my pal roy, in toronto. infront of 'the banksy'.

also, local rebel rouser 'manr' wrote over this toronto banksy. o they are up in arms.

polaroids -

last night i took out my polaroids because it has been a whole year since i finished the project. the immediate past has turned into the resent past. so i did a little review, what do these memories mean now? collectively they still feel good, but the moment is gone entirely. and most polaroids have become people and "times". it is a general feeling of happiness and contentment. i still love them very much, it was nice to hold them again.

i guess i am not done with this project yet.
but i think it needs to ripen. maybe i will take it out of the box next year and see what happens then.
